Quick Start

  1. Upload a file: drag and drop or click to select the file to convert

Sign up to get 300 free credits. Standard conversion is free, requires no signup, and costs no credits; AI summaries, translation, and image description require an account and are charged by content. Bonus credits are granted once and do not refresh daily.

What file formats are supported?

We currently support PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, images (JPG/PNG/GIF), and HTML files.

How long are converted files kept?

Conversion records can be viewed on the usage page. Please save downloaded files promptly.

Do I need to register to use MarkdownX?

No. Standard document conversion is free and requires no signup. AI features (image description/OCR, summarization, translation) require an account and credits.

What are the free tier limits?

Up to 5 files per batch, 10 pages per file, and 10 MB per file for anonymous uploads.

How are credits charged?

AI summarization and translation cost 1 credit per 300 characters; image description and OCR cost 5 credits per page or image. Standard conversion is free.

What do I get for registering?

New accounts receive 300 bonus credits for AI features. The bonus does not refresh; more credits are available via the Earth pack or Sun subscription.
